Honest Review of Ongojisin D-Cube Office

Recently, I’ve been meeting colleagues in Sindorim for offline collaboration.

That day, our study room reservation was at 12 PM, but I arrived way too early. Looking for somewhere to spend the time, I decided to visit Ongojisin D-Cube Office, located inside the Sindorim D-Cube Office.

Ongojisin operates branches at Seoul National University Station, Central City, and here at D-Cube Office. It specializes in blended teas that combine traditional ingredients with modern flair. This time, I chose one of their signature drinks — the Choconutie.

☕️ Choconutie: A Cup of Intense Sweetness

When I ordered the Choconutie, the staff gently warned me, “It might be a bit sweet.” But after the first sip, I realized “a bit sweet” was an understatement. The rich, heavy sweetness of chocolate filled my mouth instantly. The combination of sugar and chocolate syrup made it feel like I was drinking dessert itself.

Anyone with diabetes should definitely avoid it. Sweet-tooth lovers might be delighted, but those sensitive to sugar could find it overwhelming. Even I, who generally enjoys sweet drinks, felt a bit overpowered. While the sweetness mellowed slightly as the ice melted, the base drink is still very sugary.

🏢 An Office-Lounge Atmosphere

Ongojisin D-Cube Office is tucked into a small space inside the building. Unlike typical cafés, it offers a quiet, tidy office-lounge vibe.

The walls and tables are set in clean tones, making it easy to focus. Many customers were working on laptops, and conversations stayed at a low volume, creating a calm atmosphere.

This calmness could easily turn into drowsiness, though. It’s not the bustling energy of a coffee chain — more like a peaceful break spot between work sessions. The slower pace made time feel like it passed gently.

There was plenty of seating both near the entrance and opposite the counter, though I didn’t take photos due to the number of people.

📊 Overall Assessment: Taste, Atmosphere, Price

  • Atmosphere: Office vibe, quiet and calm
  • Price: Average for a tea-focused café

  • Not recommended for: Diabetics, those limiting sugar
