COSME CHEF Nokdango Trial Review
My first encounter with COSME CHEF’s “Danggo” series was when Heukdango, their fermented acne-care cleanser, was launched on Wadiz. Back then, my skin was acne-prone and reactive. I tried countless products, but nothing really helped—except Heukdango. It calmed my breakouts noticeably, and the texture felt mild and non-irritating. That experience made me trust the brand.
Recently, my skin has become increasingly dry and sensitive. Just in time, I saw the return of the Danggo cleansing pack series—Heukdango, Nokdango, and Baekdango—on Wadiz. I decided to apply for the Nokdango trial to see how it would perform on my now dry and sensitive skin.
(Note: I received a small sample for this trial.)
🌿 Texture & Scent

Given the fermented ingredients, I expected the scent to be strong or medicinal, but it was surprisingly mild. The herbal fragrance was subtle, not overpowering, and left no lingering smell on my skin after rinsing. Those who dislike intense traditional scents may still find this tolerable.
The texture was smooth and moist. It came in a squeeze-type form, which made it easy to use hygienically. When mixed with water, it foamed gently and felt soft on the skin—no stinging or irritation whatsoever. I would consider it suitable for sensitive skin types.
🧼 Before & After — One Use Only

On the left is before, on the right is after.
Due to a 3-day deadline for the review submission, I only had time to use the product once—received the parcel on Saturday and tried it Monday night.
Even after just one use, I could clearly see that clogged pores had been visibly cleared. The most impressive part was that my skin didn’t feel itchy at all after washing. With most cleansers, I often experience tightness and itchiness post-wash, but Nokdango left my skin comfortable.
Sebum and impurities were effectively removed without over-drying. It gave me the impression of a cleanser that combines high cleansing power with a soothing finish.
✅ Final Thoughts + Links
Nokdango performed well in all key areas: pore care, cleansing strength, and low irritation. Based on my past experience with Heukdango for acne, I can confidently say that Nokdango works just as well for sensitive and dry skin.
Now I’m genuinely curious about Baekdango, the third in the series. COSME CHEF’s fermented cleanser line seems well-designed to match different skin conditions. I plan to stock up during the upcoming Wadiz campaign.
